Michael ‘Micky Dee’ Delmarco is the seasoned host & producer of Oz Fish TV, spending hours on the water, fishing the beaches and piers of Victoria hard for most of his life. Growing up fishing the piers of Port Phillip Bay & the 90 mile beach, Micky Dee now focuses on Westernport and other waterways doing the hard yards chasing his favourite species, land based and in boats, such as squid, salmon, sharks, flathead, whiting and the elusive mulloway.
Michael is a well respected fisherman and has a lot to teach to those willing to listen and learn. He also loves to learn new fishing methods from others and try different fishing locations. Mickey Dee’s ultimate goal is to crack a monster Westernport mulloway, 20kg+ is a must!
Favourite Fish: Mulloway
Favourite saying: “One Last Cast”
Favourite fishing style: Surf
Jesse ‘The Hoff’ Hommelhoff is the youngest member of the crew, with a promising future in the fishing industry
With a real soft spot for lures and plastics, The Hoff prefers to battle it out with the fish in a game of wits. Outsmarting his target species and attempting to land it on extra-light tackle is what Jesse finds exciting in the fishing world.
But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love wetting a line on the surf for a gummy or joining Micky Dee in the hunt for a mega-mulloway.
Jesse loves to fish both fresh and saltwater equally, but is considered the freshwater host of the show.
Favourite Fish: Brown and Rainbow Trout
Favourite saying: “Think like a fish”
Favourite fishing style: Lure Fishing
Chris Monnier (Former Host)
A former co-host and integral founding member of Oz Fish TV, Chris Monnier hosted many episodes of the show along side Mick and Jesse, a real ‘people person’. Chris provides humour, (mostly dad jokes) jolly attitude and lifted spirits on every fishing trip he attends.
Although Chris has fished all his life as a hobby, he remains an avid learner, with a keen interest in using new strategies to target challenging and intelligent species such as bream, trout, and whiting.
With a major musical background in drumming, he is loud and totally in it for the fun.
Despite no longer being a presenter on the show, Chris maintains a positive and close friendship with Mick, Jesse and the rest of the team.
